He knows how to lose me

He knows a thousand ways to find me there

He’s learned how to blind me

I’m at my best with knees bruised and bare

I recognize his breathing

When he lies through his teeth

I know the words he’s using

And what’s slips by underneath

now he’s cold like the morning

when he’s not hot like the summer days

I was ready at the warning

now the combat burns me up in his rays

About brian black

laugh at the horror, fill the past with the future, my head lines and heart lines reach out for each other.
